at last something to report that isn't a kite! highlight of the day was a singing wood warbler at my old local patch, hollingbury, and it was a bit nostalgic seeing one here again, such cool birds. Other bits and bobs today included 2 wood sands (one flew over charleston reed bed and another in the ouse valley), 4 whinchat in the horse paddocks by the golden galleon, 3 redstart in the cuckmere and a hobby, tree pipit and ringed plover at the res.
