Sunday 23 September 2012

at the res today in 2 visits there were 3 ringed plovers, 19 wigeon, 5 gadwall, some shovelers and a dunlin. in the cuckmere, a tawny pipit flew overhead very low down whilst i was on the hillside of the first 'sister'. also an avocet on the scrape, ruff, greenshank and firecrest. i checked crowlink and holywell for yellow broweds but no luck. at seaford head there were loads of chiffs in hope gap and along the little egret roost trees but harrys bush was dead.
